This is session 1 of a 4 part series. The subsequent sessions are on October 8, 15, and 22.

You MUST REGISTER for each session separately.


Description
Learn the essential features of Windows 10 during this four week course. This is an introductory course that explains the fundamentals of the Windows 10 operating system. If you want to learn how to use your computer better, this course is for you.

The first session is Navigating Your Desktop:

  • What is a mouse/trackpad/keyboard, and what do all the buttons do?
  • The settings and power options
  • The Start menu
  • The task bar at the bottom of your screen
  • What is the action center and what does it do for me?
  • Maximizing and minimizing your screen and moving it around
  • How to create shortcuts to what you use most
  • The recycle bin
  • and many more


Prerequisites:
If you bring your own laptop, it must be running Windows 10
