Brian Watson from R.O.S.E. Resources/Outreach will present an overview of the financial frauds that typically target seniors and provide tips/tools on how to avoid becoming a victim. The goal of R.O.S.E. Resources/Outreach is to educate and provide awareness of financial scams targeting seniors. This is a growing problem. According to the FBI's IC3 (cyber crime) report for 2022, the 60+ yr old population in the United States reported losing over $3.1 billion, this is up from $1.7 billion in 2021. Arizona residents in this population reported losing over $82 million, up from $54 million in 2021.
